The brief

Sell the contractor, not the cleaning company.

Eastrada Facilities sit in a deliberately overlooked corner of the trade: not domestic cleaners, not soft-services contracts, but a serious commercial outfit with CHAS, Achilles UVDB and Constructionline accreditation, branded vehicles, and the kit to clean a warehouse roof at 45ft+. The job was to build a website that looked and felt like a contractor — not a Yellow Pages cleaning ad — and that turned site visitors into Gary's phone.

Positioning & concept

Brand positioning workshop — "the contractor way" — landed in a one-line idea that drives every section: real teams, real kit, real before-and-after results. No subcontractors, no anonymous crews.

Information architecture

Single-page, anchor-navigated site. Seven services, before/after gallery, recent work, coverage map, FAQ, contact. Engineered so every scroll surfaces a new reason to call.

Visual identity

Navy #1a3a6e and contractor green #3aa047 palette, Inter display type, "E" tile mark, branded vehicle treatment. Disciplined, premium and unmistakably trade.

Conversion-first hero

Hero photograph of a live job — powered access at a warehouse, branded A-frame sign in frame. The first thing a visitor sees is the team they'll meet on site.

Accreditation bar

CHAS, Achilles UVDB, Constructionline, HSE Work-at-Height, fully insured — surfaced as a navy band immediately under the hero. The buyer's procurement checklist, ticked, before they scroll.

How we ran it

From first call to ongoing managed service.

Eastrada is a working contractor — Gary is on a roof or in a goods yard most days. The engagement was structured so every phase was time-boxed, the client review touch points were short and pointed, and the launch wasn't a finish line.

Concept & positioning

One workshop. We mapped Eastrada's real differentiation — directly employed staff, branded fleet, accreditation, photographic proof — into a single-sentence positioning idea: "Cleaning & facilities, done the contractor way." Everything else hangs off that.

Design & visual system

Hand-coded HTML and CSS. No bloated CMS, no third-party page builders, no JavaScript framework. Result: fast, predictable, easy for AJH to maintain forever — and zero attack surface for Gary to worry about.

Visual system

A contractor palette, applied with discipline.

Navy authority, contractor green for energy and trust, white space for the photography to breathe. The "E" tile mark gives the brand a logo that scales from a 16-pixel favicon to a 4-metre van panel without losing its identity.
