Concept, design, build and ongoing management of eastrada.co.uk — a one-page, accreditation-led website for Eastrada Facilities Limited. A CHAS- and Achilles-verified commercial cleaning and facilities contractor based in Mendlesham, serving Suffolk, Norfolk and the wider East Anglia region.
Eastrada Facilities sit in a deliberately overlooked corner of the trade: not domestic cleaners, not soft-services contracts, but a serious commercial outfit with CHAS, Achilles UVDB and Constructionline accreditation, branded vehicles, and the kit to clean a warehouse roof at 45ft+. The job was to build a website that looked and felt like a contractor — not a Yellow Pages cleaning ad — and that turned site visitors into Gary's phone.
A full digital build, not a template skin. Concept positioning, visual system, single-page conversion architecture, accreditation-led trust building, lead capture, and a managed-service arrangement so the site keeps evolving as the business grows.
Brand positioning workshop — "the contractor way" — landed in a one-line idea that drives every section: real teams, real kit, real before-and-after results. No subcontractors, no anonymous crews.
Single-page, anchor-navigated site. Seven services, before/after gallery, recent work, coverage map, FAQ, contact. Engineered so every scroll surfaces a new reason to call.
Navy #1a3a6e and contractor green #3aa047 palette, Inter display type, "E" tile mark, branded vehicle treatment. Disciplined, premium and unmistakably trade.
Hero photograph of a live job — powered access at a warehouse, branded A-frame sign in frame. The first thing a visitor sees is the team they'll meet on site.
CHAS, Achilles UVDB, Constructionline, HSE Work-at-Height, fully insured — surfaced as a navy band immediately under the hero. The buyer's procurement checklist, ticked, before they scroll.
Commercial cleaning, gutter clearance, external building cleaning, carpet & floor, roof & moss, warehouse line marking, facilities services. Each with kit tags, scope and a clear contracting story.
The proof section. Real job photography paired before/after with a one-line spec — softwash, hot-water extraction, line marking, roof clean. The thing competitors don't have, made the hero of the page.
Free Quote form for buyers who want it in writing. WhatsApp Gary CTA for trades and site managers who want a voice. Both above the fold, both throughout the page.
"Based in Mendlesham. Serving East Anglia." with a written FAQ block for AEO surfacing on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity. Real questions, direct answers, schema-tagged.
DNS, hosting, SSL, sitemap, robots, indexing, structured data (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage schemas) — all live the day the site went up. No "we'll do that later".
Mobile-first, sub-2s load on 4G, 100/100 accessibility-friendly markup. Designed for site managers reading the page on a phone in a goods yard.
Monthly content updates, new job photography added to the gallery, accreditation refresh, schema and indexing maintenance — Eastrada don't touch the site, AJH keeps it sharp.
Eastrada is a working contractor — Gary is on a roof or in a goods yard most days. The engagement was structured so every phase was time-boxed, the client review touch points were short and pointed, and the launch wasn't a finish line.
One workshop. We mapped Eastrada's real differentiation — directly employed staff, branded fleet, accreditation, photographic proof — into a single-sentence positioning idea: "Cleaning & facilities, done the contractor way." Everything else hangs off that.
Disciplined typography, contractor-navy + accent-green palette, "E" tile mark, hero photography direction, A-frame sign motif. Built mobile-first then scaled to desktop. Sketched, prototyped, refined in flat files before a single line of code was written.
Hand-coded HTML and CSS. No bloated CMS, no third-party page builders, no JavaScript framework. Result: fast, predictable, easy for AJH to maintain forever — and zero attack surface for Gary to worry about.
Custom domain on managed hosting with auto-renew SSL, sitemap submitted to Google & Bing the day of launch, Google Business Profile cross-linked, analytics in place. Eastrada was indexed and live in days.
Site doesn't stand still. AJH adds new before/after jobs as they happen, refreshes accreditation copy, keeps schema and indexing healthy, and ships small UX improvements every month. Eastrada keeps cleaning. AJH keeps the website alive.
Navy authority, contractor green for energy and trust, white space for the photography to breathe. The "E" tile mark gives the brand a logo that scales from a 16-pixel favicon to a 4-metre van panel without losing its identity.
The site shipped fast, indexed cleanly and is structured so Gary's only job is to take Eastrada's existing strengths — direct employment, branded fleet, accreditation, real before-and-after — and let the page do the talking. Ongoing management keeps it fresh.
Three working weeks from the first positioning workshop to a fully indexed, lead-capturing site.
One single page with anchor navigation. Every section earns its place. No fluff, no orphaned content.
Free Quote form for procurement buyers, WhatsApp Gary for site managers. Both surfaced everywhere.
CHAS, Achilles, Constructionline, HSE Work-at-Height, fully insured — the buyer's checklist, ticked.
Commercial cleaning, gutters, external building, carpet, roof & moss, warehouse line marking, facilities.
LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, Review and BreadcrumbList markup — ready for AEO surfacing.
Monthly retainer for new before/after photography, content, SEO & AEO maintenance — site stays sharp.
Static HTML, no frameworks, no bloat. Site managers on a 4G connection in a goods yard get the answer fast.
AJH took our facilities business from no real digital presence to a single-page, lead-generating website that mirrors how we actually talk to customers. End-to-end concept, design and deployment — and they continue to manage and evolve it as we grow.
Whether you're a contractor, a tradesperson, a service business or a single-location SME — AJH Technology designs and builds lead-generating, conversion-first websites for the same flat rates as a tired template. Concept to live in three weeks. Managed long-term.
